Mastermind Questions, Answered

Is an accounting mastermind worth it?

For most firm owners who feel stuck or isolated, the answer is yes, provided the group is the right fit. The value comes from getting unstuck faster: a problem that might cost you months of trial and error often gets solved in a single session by someone who’s already been through it. You also gain accountability that keeps your goals from slipping and a network of peers who understand the realities of running a firm.

The best way to judge it for yourself is to experience one. We host free quarterly preview sessions so you can see exactly how it works before deciding. Reserve a preview spot and judge the value firsthand.

Who is the AdminBooks mastermind for?

It’s built for accounting and bookkeeping firm owners who want to grow, but feel they’ve hit a ceiling doing it alone. If you’re wrestling with capacity, hiring your next team member, raising your prices, or simply working too many hours, you’re exactly who this is for.

It tends to be the strongest fit for owners who are past the earliest startup phase and ready to work on the business, not just in it. If that sounds like where you are, the preview session is the best place to confirm the fit.

How much does the mastermind cost?

The mastermind is a paid membership with a recurring monthly investment, structured as an ongoing commitment so the group stays consistent and members are genuinely invested in each other’s growth.

Because the real question is whether it’s worth it for your firm, we’d rather show you than quote a number cold. Start with a free preview session, or book a quick call and we’ll walk you through the details and pricing.

What actually happens in a mastermind session?

It’s a working session, not a webinar. You bring a real challenge from your firm, and the group works through it together with brainstorming, problem-solving, and honest feedback from owners who’ve faced the same thing. Sessions are built around three pillars: gaining fresh perspective, group accountability toward your goals, and tracking measurable growth in your firm.

You leave each session with practical insights you can apply immediately, not just notes to file away.

How is a mastermind different from hiring a business coach?

A coach gives you one perspective. A mastermind gives you a whole room of them. Instead of advice from a single advisor, you get insight from multiple firm owners who are actively solving the same problems you are, including those running seven-figure practices.

It also runs both ways: you’re not only receiving guidance, you’re contributing it, which is often where the deepest learning happens. The peer accountability and shared experience are things one-on-one coaching can’t quite replicate.

What’s the time commitment?

The group meets twice a month, typically the first and third Wednesdays, so it fits around running your firm rather than competing with it. Outside of those sessions, the accountability and connection continue in the community between meetings.

We do ask for a six-month commitment to start. That’s intentional: a mastermind only works when members feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely connected, and that kind of trust can’t form if people are cycling in and out every few weeks. The six months gives the group the consistency it needs for real relationships and real progress to take hold.

The free preview session is a low-commitment way to see how it fits your schedule. Register for an upcoming preview to try it out.
