Fun Facts about Renee

  • Her brother and sister were born in the same year, but they are not twins!
  • She used to be a sign language interpreter.
  • She got her music degree from San Jose State University.
  • She loves dogs! Bruce, her last “puppy” passed away after being a beloved family pet for 14 years.

Renee Daggett received her bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University in 1989. In 2003, she started an accounting firm near San Jose, CA, which is now 100% virtual & paperless. She is the CEO of AdminBooks, an Enrolled Agent, speaker, and author. 

While Renee no longer works directly with clients, she is still active in the firm. Her goal for CLIENTS is to support them with accounting services (bookkeeping, payroll, tax prep & tax planning) so they will succeed in their business and make a difference in their lives. Her goal for her TEAM is to create a culture of excellence, collaboration, innovation and fun, being the BEST place to work. 

Currently, she is serving on the board of the Professional Association of Small Business Accountants (https://pasba.org/). Previously, she served several years on the Tax Council for Intuit. 

Born and raised in California and happily married since 1990, Renee is the mother of two sons, a daughter-in-law she adores and a granddaughter she visits as much as possible. She lives her life with purpose and thrives on helping her clients & team do so as well.
