Have you looked recently at QuickBooks Online?

I’ll admit it: I’m not someone who easily embraces change. My comfort zone? Being Comfortable. Years ago, QuickBooks Online was frustrating. It felt clunky, slow, and unintuitive. Tasks took longer, things were hard to find, and the platform wasn’t forgiving, leaving me feeling inefficient and annoyed. And then there was the monthly fee I could not wrap my head around. But have you seen QBO lately? It’s a whole new experience. Everything is better—faster, smarter, and more user-friendly. I am now actively encouraging long-time desktop users to make the switch. If you’ve been hesitant like I was, it might be time to take another look.

  7. Automatically back-up your file, so you’ll never lose data
  8. Instantly provide your accountant with access to your file
  9. Work efficiently with multiple screens open
  10. Delete accounts you are no longer using, but see them again easily by clicking the “inactive” box
  11. Faster, easier workflow. Menus are reduced so there is less navigating thru pull down tabs

  13. You can upload copies of receipts and attach them to the transaction for paperless proof of deduction
  14. You can bookmark specific pages in your browser to reduce the amount of clicks
  15. Your banking page shows the matching transactions boldly with a green icon, which is less confusing
  16. System assistance with reconciling if bank feeds are connected. The system selects what has been cleared
  17. Rules can be created to auto-add transactions from the bank feed. For example, all PG&E transactions can automatically be categorized to utilities
  18. QuickBooks Online Advanced offers a more robust program that allows up to 25 users with custom roles and features such as batch entering of checks and invoices, automated approvals and KPI indicators
